Douglas C. Evans
Douglas C. Evans is the Executive Director of The Chamber Music Society of Palm Beach and has been a leader in the international cultural sector for more than three decades. In addition to being CEO of Premiere Global Partners an international consulting firm, he most recently held the position of Chief Development, Marketing and Communications Office for the Perez Museum of Art in Miami. He also was the Founder of Classical South Florida Radio, 89.7FM, 90.7FM, 101.9FM in the Palm Beaches and 88.7FM in Naples, Marco Island and Ft. Myers. In addition to his domestic positions, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment and President of Broadway China Ventures, a division of the Nederlander Organization charged with opening offices in Beijing and Shanghai and creating a network of 25 theaters nationwide in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao.
A prolific producer of Broadway musicals and plays, he is a partner on numerous projects including “Wallenberg, A New Dramatic Musical”, the award winning Broadway bound play “Spring at the Willowbrook Inn”, founder of Goehring Evans Productions, LLC which produced the national tour of “Raisin Cane” starring Jasmine Guy and produced the Off Broadway blockbuster production of “Frankenstein” starring Hunter Foster, Christianne Noll, Mandy Bruno and Steve Blanchard. Evans has worked with a galaxy of stars including Barbara Cook, Carol Lawrence, Nell Carter, Ann Miller, Juliet Prowse, John Raitt, Shirley MacLaine and Paula Zahn to name just a few. Evans also continues to be a guest on the “Brad Davis Radio Program” every Friday broadcast over numerous stations in the Northeast, a program he has appeared on for almost 30 years.
