ABOUT CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY OF PALM BEACH

The Chamber Music Society of Palm Beach (CMSPB) brings sublime chamber music to the heart of Palm Beach County, enthralling audiences with performances that both captivate and educate. Our legacy, built since 2013, includes over 150 remarkable artists gracing our stages— from the eminent Emerson String Quartet to the virtuosity of acclaimed violinists James Ehnes and Pinchas Zuckerman, and pianists Anne-Marie McDermott and Inon Barnatan, alongside esteemed colleagues from across the international classical music scene.

CMSPB’s educational endeavors are at the forefront of the organization, reaching nearly 2,000 students and young musicians each season. Through masterclasses, in-school performances and open rehearsals, CMSPB aims to kindle the flame of creativity in young minds, cultivating the artists and audiences of tomorrow.

In recent years, CMSPB has launched the Boscobel Chamber Music Festival in partnership with the Boscobel House and Gardens, a historic house museum located at a scenic site on the Hudson River, just an hour north of New York City. The festival focuses on community and educational outreach, providing open rehearsals and lectures that have reached over 2,000 audience members since 2022.

In January of 2025 and under the direction of violinist and CMSPB Artistic Director Arnaud Sussmann and cellist Edward Arron, CMSPB launched the inaugural year of Rising Artists, an initiative bringing together four extraordinary young string players to Palm Beach for an immersive week of collaboration, mentorship, and performance. Now entering its second season, the Rising Artists program continues to nurture and promote young talents through an immersive week of rehearsals and performances, while engaging with the Palm Beach community through a multitude of outreach events. Alumni of the Rising Artists program continue to enjoy performance opportunities in Palm Beach throughout the season, as well as in our partner site at Boscobel House and Gardens.
