The Schumann Circle

One of the most inspiring friendships in music history: the deep bonds between Johannes Brahms, Robert and Clara Schumann, and Joseph Joachim. These four supported each other through triumphs, challenges, and creative sparks. This program surveys their chamber works, culminating in Schumann’s towering Piano Quartet featuring beloved artists returning to CMSPB.
