What is the difference between membership and subscription?

"Membership" refers to a specific donation amount given to support CMSPB, with various benefits provided to members. "Subscription" is a package of tickets for the season's concerts, offering a discount on ticket prices and fees.

Does membership include others in my household?

No, membership is sold per person. You will be asked to provide the name(s) of each member at the time of purchase; however, the account can only be in one member's name. If you wish to have separate accounts, please call Susan Andrews, Patron Services Manager at (561) 379-6773.

Why doesn't membership to CMSPB automatically include tickets anymore?

Some individuals become members to support the organization but do not attend concerts, leaving empty seats. By separating memberships and tickets, individuals can support CMSPB without tying up valuable inventory, while still remaining as members and receiving benefits.

How can members obtain tickets?

Members can purchase a season subscription along with their membership or opt to purchase individual tickets to specific concerts. Individual tickets can be purchased in the fall either online or by phone.

Do I need to bring my ticket to the concert?

Yes, all concerts now require tickets for entry. This change helps expedite entry into the concert and provides CMSPB with accurate attendance data for grant funding purposes.

Do I still "check in" upon arrival?

For the concert, no. An usher will scan your ticket, automatically checking you in. For the pre-concert reception, yes, supporting members will need to provide their name at the door.

How do I choose a ticket shipping option?

The "Print at Home" option emails your tickets, allowing you to print them or show them on your phone. The "Mail my Ticket" option will mail your tickets in October via the US Postal service. Please ensure we have your correct shipping address for October.

How do I access the pre-concert reception?

The pre-concert reception is for all supporting Members and Young Friends of CMSPB. Receptions are held the hour before each concert and include hors d'oeuvres, wine, and beer. Attendees must provide their name at the door for check-in.

What is the Artist Circle Dinner?

The Artist Circle Dinner is an intimate event at a private club where you can mingle and dine with the performers and make new friends. The dinner includes cocktails, wine, appetizers, main course, and dessert. Free street parking or valet parking is provided at the club.

How do I get an invitation to the Artist Circle Dinner?

The post-concert dinners are for supporting members at the Artist Circle level and above. These members can purchase the dinner for an additional cost. To upgrade your membership, please call (561) 379-6773 to speak with our Patron Services Manager, Susan Andrews.

Is my Membership or Subscription tax-deductible?

Membership tax deductions are: Patrons Circle $725, Artists Circle $1,500, Directors Circle $4,000, and Benefactor $9,000 per person. Subscriptions are not tax-deductible.

How do I pay for my Membership or Subscription from a Foundation or by check?

Foundations may only pay for the tax-deductible portion. The balance can be paid by personal check or credit card. Please call Susan Andrews, Patron Services Manager at (561) 379-6773 to make arrangements.

When do individual tickets go on sale?

Individual tickets will be available in the Fall of 2023. The exact date is to be determined.
