Violin Through the Ages

A journey through musical history — beginning with the glory of the Baroque and Bach. Then to the Classical period with music of Mozart. Two works by the romantics, Felix Mendelssohn and America’s own Amy Beach. A glance at Ravel’s post impressionism, and to our own time with a brief Ravel-inspired work by Michael Stephen Brown. Artistic Director Arnaud Sussmann is joined by long time collaborator and friend Orion Weiss.
